TIE Blog 2
I was surprised how much I learned in ETEC and I'm really excited about using it in my own classroom. There were a few things that made it difficult schedule wise to implement in the Voicethread and utilize it to its fullest potential. Overall, I found that this course introduced me to Google Docs, which ended up coming in handy in my other classes. Also, the idea of Voicethread was very new to me and I enjoyed working with the students to put this project together. I look forward to starting a new Voicethread project in the future!
Tie Blog 1
I can see that a lot of students are reading for fun, so I thought it would be a great idea to give the other students an opportunity to see their favorite book. Students were asked to think about the following questions when doing the Voicethread.
1. What is your favorite book and why?
2. What is the setting?
3. What is the conflict?
4. Who are the main characters?
5. What is the turning point?

Technology Intergration Experience Thoughts
After reviewing a few voice threads,I have decided that I want to integrate voice thread by solving math problems.
The class can comment by showing how they came up with the answer and
show how many different ways they can come up with the same answer. I
love how students can really get involved in their work by creating
their own math problems and making it is a fun way to practice math. I
am also considering having students tell their own story from a picture book
that they made. I think it is a wonderful idea because it gives
students the opportunity to be creative with their writing and it is a
piece that they are able to publish and get feedback from their
classmates.
